This book illustrates the need for detail in landscape architecture. It uses some of the biggest, well known projects and illustrates the details, which make the design. Detail is not always easy to been seen in a project, unless it was the designers intention. this book is a great start in understanding detail. Unfortunately it doenst explain why the detail is designed in that way or why the inparticular materials were used.
